Completed in November 2017, with a technical deployment space of over 6 000m² and a resilient power supply of 24MVA, the Bredell facility is strategically positioned to serve the local and African market and has been built to international hyperscaler specifications. The data centre was designed incorporating key elements of different tiering solutions and industry best practices to ensure concurrent maintainability, with added enhancements to cover additional levels of fault tolerance.

Satellite Earth Station
Submarine cable systems, local and international terrestrial networks, and numerous other major IP backbones have established strategic interconnection hubs within Teraco’s Isando Campus facilities. As the first carrier neutral earth station in Africa, the Teraco Teleport further enhances Teraco’s open market offering by providing interconnections between different forms of telecommunications, including one that links satellites to ground-based communications.
